Nishan Bhattarai

Nishan Bhattarai, born on June 12, 1996, emerged as one of the final three contestants set to compete in the highly anticipated ‘Nepal Idol’ grand finale held in Qatar on September 22. He has swiftly gained fame as a Nepali singer, earning recognition through his participation in the reality television singing competition, Nepal Idol. His vocal prowess extends to singing prominently in both Nepali and Hindi languages.

The Nepal Idol show, hosted by AP1 Television and a part of the acclaimed Idols franchise created by Simon Fuller, has been his platform for showcasing his talent. Hailing from the eastern part of Nepal, Nishan originally hails from the small town of Urlabari in the Morang district. His roots tie back to his parents, Nityananda Bhattarai and Renuka Bhattarai. Despite his upbringing in Urlabari, he currently resides in Kathmandu.

Remarkably, at the young age of 20, Nishan Bhattarai secured a spot as one of the top three contestants in Nepal Idol. Prior to this success, he also showcased his singing prowess as one of the top five contestants in Singing Icon Nepal, another reality singing competition organized by Nepal Television.
