Community Rules

Write a review of at least 80 characters and you earn 10 points. The points count right away once you publish. If you delete the review, or moderators remove it, the points are taken back. Shorter reviews are welcome too, but they do not earn points.

Any signed-in member can mark a review helpful. Each helpful vote gives the author points equal to the voter's weight: 1 for an Audience member, up to 5 for a Jury member. Taking your vote back takes those points back. You cannot vote on your own review. A vote from an account that shares a device with the author, or that has been flagged for suspicious activity, counts for nothing.

Marking a review not helpful does not take points away from its author. It only affects where the review is placed in the list, so the most useful reviews come first. The same ranking weighs the voter's level, and a verified artist cannot mark reviews of their own page not helpful.

Points add up to a level. A higher level makes your votes count for more.

• Audience: from 0 points
• Regular: from 100 points
• Critic: from 500 points
• Top Critic: from 2,000 points
• Showghar Jury: from 5,000 points, and by invitation only

Reviews by Critics, Top Critics and Jury members also rank a little higher in a list: 5%, 10% and 15% respectively.

To keep points fair, one member can give another at most 10 points in a week, and a member can earn at most 100 points from votes in a day. A member can cast at most 60 votes an hour.

Moderators remove reviews that are abusive, spam, off topic, or that give away the story without a spoiler warning. A removed review costs its author 25 points. If 3 reviews are removed within 90 days, the account is frozen for 30 days: it cannot earn points or have its votes counted in that time.

We may change these numbers from time to time. A change applies to points earned after it; points you already have are not taken away.
