Shraddha Prasain

Shraddha Prasai is a versatile Nepali artist who has made a significant mark in the entertainment industry as an actress, singer, and director. She first rose to national prominence as an actress with her debut in the 2017 romantic drama "Darpan Chhaya 2," directed by the legendary Tulsi Ghimire. In the film, she played the pivotal role of Nisha, earning praise for her performance despite the high expectations following the original cult classic. Since her debut, she has appeared in films like "Romeo" and various music videos, while also showcasing her vocal talent through cover songs and original tracks like "Ma Yestai Chu," and even appearing as a contestant on The Voice of Nepal Season 4 in 2022.

In recent years, Shraddha has transitioned into influential behind-the-scenes roles, becoming a key figure in Nepal's thriving comedy scene. She serves as the Chief Assistant Director for the popular television show "Comedy Club with Champions" and is a creative force behind "Amma Kassam Yhaa Dukhcha." Expanding her directorial portfolio, she recently ventured into feature film production and direction; in 2025, it was announced she would co-direct the film "Ka Ka Ki Ki" alongside her husband, comedian Bkey Agarwal. Her career is characterized by this successful shift from being a "new face" of Nepali cinema to an established director and producer in multi-platform media.
