Simran Khadka

Simran Khadka is a passionate actress who completed a one-year acting diploma at Kantipur Film Academy and further trained at Actors Hub Academy — a foundation that speaks to someone who takes the craft seriously rather than treating it as an afterthought. She started her acting career through music videos before making her film debut in Premgunj, and steadily built her presence through supporting roles in films like Behuli from Meghauli (2024) and Chitra. Standing at approximately 5 feet 3 inches, she brings a grounded, natural warmth to her performances that has made industry insiders and audiences alike take notice.

Her biggest step yet came with Gauthali — her first film as a lead heroine, in which she plays a struggling rural young woman facing child marriage and domestic violence. It is exactly the kind of role that demands emotional range, vulnerability, and real commitment, and Simran has spoken about approaching it with both excitement and honest nerves. "This is my first lead role film as an artist. Therefore, I have a little fear and nervousness in my heart, along with excitement and curiosity about the release," she shared ahead of the film's arrival. That kind of self-awareness — the ability to acknowledge fear without letting it stop you — is itself a quality of a serious artist.

Simran Khadka is still writing the early chapters of what promises to be a meaningful career. With formal training, a growing filmography across Premgunj, Agastya, Behuli from Meghauli, Chitra, and now Gauthali as her headline debut, she has laid down exactly the right groundwork. Nepal's cinema needs fresh voices willing to take on stories that matter — and with Gauthali, Simran has made it clear she is ready to be one of them.
