Mohar

Mohar is a touching drama that dives into the emotional and societal layers of rural Nepal. The story revolves around a schoolgirl who faces the hardships of poverty, discrimination, and the painful realities of early marriage. Her family, burdened by financial stress, sees little choice but to marry her off while she's still a child.

As the girl struggles with this life-altering decision, the film paints a vivid portrait of resilience and innocence caught in the crossfire of tradition and economic pressure. With heartfelt storytelling, Mohar raises powerful questions about education, women's rights, and the weight of societal expectations.
